 September
2002 marks the 75th year since the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters
first welcomed college students to the Edgewood campus. Ever
since the fall of 1927, generations of students have come here
to learn from and to share the Dominican tradition of a
values-based college education.
Now, in its Diamond Jubilee year, Edgewood College welcomes its
many alumni and friends to return to campus to share with
today’s students, staff, and faculty this proud history and
celebrate the bright future ahead.
This website outlines some of the many exciting events – a
year-long feast of lectures, concerts, art shows, as well as a
winter gala ball, the opening of an athletic hall of fame, and a
unique musical drama – all beginning with a festive kick-off
weekend at the end of September.
You, your family, and your friends are warmly invited to
participate in all the Jubilee events – as well as this Jubilee
